It is used in industry by architects, civil engineers, graphic designers, city planners and many other professionals. AutoCAD also allows modifications in the project already saved which definitely help the users. It can be used to perform different kinds of drawing like construction, electrical, mechanical and so on in Punjab. It was supported by 750 training centers worldwide in the year 1994. Its first release only use entities such as polygons, circles, lines, arcs, and text to construct complex objects. AutoCAD was first introduced in the month of December in 1982 as a desktop app running on microcomputers with internal graphics controllers. Initially AutoCAD was derived from a program called Interact, which was written in a proprietary language. Owing to these merits, AutoCAD is undoubtedly the most widely accepted software in many areas around the Punjab.
There are many merits of using AutoCAD. They are also adopted as a skill development application for a graduate-level of education.
